Band Booster News:
Like many other booster groups, which support many activities at the high school, we are involved with supporting the Band (including Color Guard). “Support” is typically interpreted as “fund raising’. While it is true that we do a certain amount of fundraising, there are also other functions served by Boosters: equipment movement and logistics, management and coordination during away trips, providing chaperones during away trips, maintenance of various equipment, etc.

23rd Annual Desoto Marching Classic
The Forney High School Band attended the 23rd Annual DeSoto High School Marching Contest on Saturday, Oct. 9 and returned home as the competition's Grand Champion. A total of 20 bands participated in the competition, several of which were 5A bands.
Congratulations FHS Band as being named the Grand Champion at the 23rd annual Desoto Marching Contest!
