Plans for the 5th Annual Forney Band Booster “Taste of Forney” and Silent Auction are underway. This event will be an exciting way for the community to show support and enthusiasm for our talented band. It will also provide Forney residents (and friends) an opportunity to taste the local cuisine and take part in a silent auction. Proceeds from this event will benefit the High School and Middle School band programs.
Be a part of the excitement! We need dedicated parents to help with the following:
**Attend**
We encourage all our families and friends to come to the event. The admission fee
($10 Adults, $5 Students, 3 & Under Free) includes a variety of food samples from area restaurants, a spectacular concert provided by the high school and middle school bands, and allows you to bid on Silent Auction items! You won’t want to miss it!
**Donate**
Do you have an auction contribution or a contact with an area business? We need items (any value). Examples of items include: Ranger/Cowboy tickets, DVD players, gift certificates, spa services, etc. Donation forms and solicitation letters are available at the band site listed below.
**Volunteer**
This is a great way to meet other parents and feel a part of the Band Booster organization. We hope that all parents can help in some way! Volunteers can solicit items, help organize the night of the event, call other parents, etc. Plenty of opportunities are available – Volunteer info will be communicated via e-mail and on Facebook “Forney HS Band Boosters”
