Mesquite Marching Festival Results

 

The 2011 FHS Band competed for the 1st time this past Saturday.  The kids performed very well. They received a 1st division, placed 2nd in their class (4A), and our colorguard won BEST IN CLASS!!  Our drum majors Kassidy Culver and Mary Fangary were selected as the MOST OUTSTANDING DRUM MAJORS of the entire contest!! (1A-5A).
 
We placed 4th overall out of 24 bands competing that day (1A-5A).  There were some great bands there that day and we were honored to place so high amongst them.
 
We defend our GRAND CHAMPIONSHIP at the DeSoto Marching Classic this coming Saturday (October 8th).  We perform at 4:15.  Please come out and show your support.
