Forney Color Guard

Guard

The Forney Color Guard (FCG) is a highly dedicated, highly competitive team that performs and competes year round. The Guard learns how to dance in both contemporary/modern, as well as traditional styles to produce their high scoring productions.

In the Fall, the Color Guard performs with the marching band, performing at every varsity football game, as well as competiting in various marching contests through-out the season. In the Spring, the Color Guard competes in intense, state and national level competition, utilizing equipment and dance to produce intricate and expressive routines.

The FCG continues it's traditions of excellence year after year, having an undefeated 2008 season in the North Texas circuit, as well as capturing a Junior Varsity North Texas Championship in 2009. The FCG has spread it's influence to the Warren Middle School, producing a competitive guard that came home with numerous trophies in the 2009 season, including a 2nd place as well as two 1st place wins! In 2010 the team made WGI Power Regional Finals in Houston as well as maintaining a Cadet, JV, and Varsity program. In 2011 the team pushed limits in training and performance to propel the 2012 season into the SO class.
