Forney High School Marching Band

The Forney High School marching band is comprised of all members of the FHS Band program.  This ensemble rehearses every morning from 7am to 8am and Monday after school.  This ensemble has performed at the Desoto Marching Classic, USSBA Red Oak Marching Contest, Mesquite Marching Festival, UIL Marching Contest,  Area Band Competitions, Texas State Marching Contest as well as Northwestern Marching Festival held in Louisiana.  The FHS marching band was the Best in Class 4A band in 2008, 2009 and 2010 at the Mesquite Marching Festival.  The UIL state finalist show for 2009-2010 school year was the music of Dmitri Shostakovich.
